You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Paid, full-time internship within a dynamic AI-driven R&D team

  • Collaboration with world-class experts on groundbreaking AI/ML research projects

  • Direct mentorship and structured feedback, including regular check-ins and a final evaluation

  • Integration as a full-fledged member of the Snowflake AI R&D Team

  • Post-internship career opportunities (full-time and/or additional internships)

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • Actively enrolled in PhD or MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

  • Preferred strong research background demonstrated by publications at top-tier ML conferences, such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR, and ICCV

  • Strong programming skills (Python)

  • Strong foundation in ML theory, deep learning architectures, and statistical modeling

  • Exposure to the ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, TensorFlow)

  • Ability to formulate and explore open-ended research questions

  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team

  • Strong communication skills to present insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Duration: Minimum 4 months (recommended 6 months, up to 12 months supported)

    WHAT YOU WILL LEARN/GAIN:

  • Conducting research on foundational and applied AI topics

  • Experimenting with scalable ML systems and integrating new methods into Snowflake’s AI stack.

  • Keeping up with academic and open-source AI research.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
